One of the aspects that impressed me, was the idea, that it’s never too late to start working out and live a healthy life. Working out regularly reduces the risk of diseases, helps to recover faster in an existing disease, helps to maintain intellectual performance, prevents memory loss, helps reduce chronic pain, improves the quality of sleep and boosts your immune system. Age is just a number, exercises are important for all ages. In old age exercising is especially important, because cardiovascular diseases can lead to a decrease in muscle strength and reduced movement or osteoporosis may appear. Over the age of sixty, lower intensity of exercises are recommended, for example swimming, cycling, walking, dancing and running. Szabó H.A.

One aspect that impressed me was the intermittent fasting which involves a two-day cycle in which the first restricts the calorie intake to 400-500 for women and 500-600 for men, and on the second day, the person can have any intake of calories. It is recommended to eat a single serving near noon on the day of fasting. Normally, I would think that the calorie intake from normal days would count quite significantly, but tests have shown that this is not the case. In one test, people who practiced intermittent fasting had even better results than those who practiced classic fasting, with a more drastic decrease in LDL cholesterol, mass and blood pressure. The presenter of the show practiced a form of intermittent fasting in which he could eat anything he wanted 5 days a week and fasting 2 days in which he could actually eat between 500-600 calories a day. This post has had very good results for him, but may be different as appropriate. His results after a month were: - IGF1 (growth hormone) decreased by 50%, from 30 to 15; - Blood glucose dropped to 90 from 105; - LDL cholesterol decreased and HDL increased.
One of the aspects that caught my attention was the fact that if you restrict the amount you eat, you can live longer. I've read that when you fast, your body is regenerating, it is like cleaning itself and you also can lose weight. Many people mentioned in the Bible fasted, even Jesus. So, we should follow them and do the same in order to have a healthy and longer life. Ligia Săplăcan

I was impressed by the fact that people, even if they are old, do simple but useful things to stay healthy. Eating good food and doing sport prevents most of the deseases. The diet that Michael Mosley is trying based on feast and famine has a lot of powerful effects on the body, like reducing the risks of heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Bodó A. One of the aspects that impressed me,was the idea, that the most nutrients in fruits and vegetables, such as apples, are found in the skin or peel. Eating an apple's skin will give you the most amount of nutrients including fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. If you're afraid to eat an apple's skin, choose to wash it with baking soda to get rid of most of the pesticides usually found. Choosing not to peel your apples gives you the most apple nutrition. The amount of fiber in apples with skin is 5.4 grams. Apple nutrition also includes an array of vitamins and minerals, such as potassium and vitamin C. Even without the skin, apples still contain an adequate amount of vitamins and minerals. However, the quantities are less than apples with their peels. Noticeably, the fiber is reduced to only 2.8 grams, just a little over half of the fiber found in apple with skin. In summary,if you have been taking the peel off the apple before you eat it, you might not be getting the most value out of the apple's nutrition.
The thing that impressed me the most in this video was the importance of living a healthy life. Health gives us the opportunity to live our life full of joy and make us able to do all of its activities as we desire. When we have a healthy lifestyle, our bodies remains healthy and our mind stays intuitive and fresh. This would prevent us from so many severe diseases, and live a healthy life to its full extent. I am impressed by the old man, who is full of life, who is so vibrant and motivated. He is a good example for everyone and teach us that the age is just a number. If you are persistent enough, you can do anything you want. I think his performance is respectable. It is very interesting how our habits influence our health and our whole life. With a little attention, with healthy eating, with some exercises, sports we can keep our health for a long time, maybe for the rest of our lives.
